An animation originally made for BYOB Glasgow at the Glue Factory in late 2012. I remade Birds Nest Soup for Modern Edinburgh Film School in early 2013. The second version includes several extra verses in the titular song.
Birds Nest Soup is a silent film, portraying a cloud of smoke who relays a nonsensical and wholly sinister song about birds and dark places, before dissolving. The lyrics appear in subtitles, the cloud is a combination of 3d animation and filmed footage.
